Takawiri island; white sandy beaches, palm trees, blue skies and blue-er water. What makes this an unexpected island is because it’s on the Kenyan side of Lake Victoria!
This is the final part of my ‘Chasing Islands’ tour that saw me visit islands on Lake Victoria; Mfangano, Bird Islands, Rusinga and Takawiri (the most stunning of them all.)
